Monponsett Pond, known locally as the Twin Lakes, is a system of two great ponds located in Halifax, Massachusetts, in Plymouth County. These ponds are 32 miles south of Boston and 12 miles west of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Boston Logan International is only 32 miles north. The closest location for urgent care is Good Samaritan Medical Center, 19 miles northwest in Brockton, Massachusetts.

The West Basin has a concrete boat launch available to residents looking to hit the water! Activities like waterskiing, tubing, and jet skiing are all possible here.

If high-speed fun isn't your thing, try the East Basin, where car-top boats like kayaks are canoes are popular. Residents can launch their kayak or canoe from the beach or a culvert along Route 36.

Whether on the water or from the shore, be sure to bring your rod and reel! Anglers should expect to catch largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, chain pickerel, white perch, and more!
